A commercially astute, resourceful and meticulous Company Director and CFO at LP Consultancy InvestCap Limited, with over a decade of experience in providing strategic and operational guidance to clients across diverse industries and geographies. I am a qualified financial transformation expert who specialises in buy-side and sell-side M&A, private capital fundraising and capital restructuring.

I have successfully handled financial assets worth over £1 billion and completed projects in various sectors, including Technology, Software, Property, Oil & Gas, Media, Recruitment, Healthcare, Travel / Hospitality, Retail and Charity.

I have strong globalexperience in investments, working with Family Offices and U/HNWIs, and overseeing programme management across the EMEA, Asia and the USA.

An austere fiscal steward, I am viscerally driven to help corporations actualise their vision through strong fiscal discipline and prudent decision-making. Responsible for cost-optimisation, risk mitigation, cash flow management, process improvement, and new business development.

Charity work and Hobbies

When I am not facilitating organisational success, I can be found providing service to the community as an ambassador, fundraiser and volunteer for the UK Stroke Association – a cause close to my heart. I also regularly donate blood for NHS Blood and Transplant, having donated thirteen times.

During COVID-19 crisis, since April 2020 I have become a registered NHS Volunteer and Responder helping our communities.

I have been an Associate Member of Institute of Directors since May 2017. Certification authority Institute of Directors Young Directors Forum – Central London branch.

I speak fluent English, Croatian and Italian. I love spending time with my family, travelling, exploring new cultures and foreign countries.

  • Employment History

    Director / CFO – LP Consultancy InvestCap Limited, since January 2013

    • Finance Director for UK Payments Administration (part of Bank of England) responsible for the team of 8; Managements Accountants and book-keepers for four different banking sectors (Open Banking, Cheque & Credit clearing, BACS, Faster Payments) as well as then dormant CHAPS department. Involved in implementing and upgrading their accounting system to allow for large consolidated accounts previously this process was not done; reviewing and updating the financial policies and processes for the company. Involved in the major audit with the Bank of England.
      – Major Responsibilities: Prepare timely and accurate Net Assets Values, Yields, Distributions and other fund accounting output for subsequent review. Deal with Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) legal documents with each of their legal departments in order to help make decisions on Shareholders’ behalf. Revenue of £115M.
    • Head of Finance and undertaking a consultancy role for ExclusiveGP (part of F1 Group). Private-equity backed. Revenue of $800M.
    • Deputy CFO for Netcentric. M&A project post acquisition. Revenue of £50M.
    • Group CFO – Vermilion Group – overseeing recruitment, property and investment start-ups.
    • Integral part of setting up various financial systems, processes and reporting. Revenue of £8M.
    • Advising Seroff & Associates, exclusive Financial Consultant to a specialist “Soccer 360” project – securing $10M funding, bid writing and performing financial analysis. Private-equity backed. Revenue of $300M.
    • Consultant to Evertz Microsystems Ltd – Monitoring and reviewing expenses and costs such as overheads and wages to consistently target 30% gross profit margin. M&A project post acquisition. Private-equity backed. Revenue of $1B.
    • Finance Director (project-based role) for British Heart Foundation Retail side of this charity. Revenue of £200M.
    • Involvement in Starlight Music Charity – acting as Head of Finance, implementing Sage System and improving the organisation’s ability to access financial data. Revenue of £500k.
    • Manager for BG Group Plc – conducting complex financial analyses on oil price changes, budgets, cash flows, operating results, and business plans to determine the rates of return and capital/cash flow requirements. Evaluated multiple transactions up to $500,000 in size. Revenue of $1B.
    • Lollaksi Limited was another client, involving collaboration with the CEO and management on budgeting, long-term planning, and global growth in the USA, South Africa, Indonesia, and India. Turned around supply chain delivering $100,000 in savings. Revenue of £1.5M.
    • Bissell Inc. – Collaborated with Vice President Head of Finance to establish forecasts and budgets for EMEA. Grew sales 10% by realigning marketing approach gap. Increased average revenue by 23%. Revenue of £400M.

    Group CFO – Snow Software – Jun 2011 – Mar 2015

    • Directed financial accounting activities including billing, payroll, P&L management, accounts payable/receivable, and preparation of financial statements, to assure budget compliance.
    • Evaluated reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities to recommend and effect modifications in operating systems, budgets, and other controls.
    • Accurately forecasted financial performance, budget hours, payroll, and sales.
    • Implemented new computerised accounting system to meet strategic business needs.
    • Improved credit control functions through improved controls and communication with clients resulting in reduction of debtor days from 60+ to 30 days.

    • Oversaw all accounting activities for company.
